Don't just wear them once or twice — wear them everywhere, all the time. You'll look like an idiot, but when the first fire rolls around and you've already got 50 hours in your boots and your feet aren't turning into one giant blister, you'll be glad.
Here are some examples:
Not sure if your boots qualify? Send me a picture and I'll help you out.

Where to Meet
This is the location of our vans. Our SOP is to meet here at 8:00, wheels rolling by 8:15 — but that can change, so keep an eye on the group chat. At the light when you turn left into the farm, you'll see a gate that will probably be locked. I have the key card to unlock it, so just pull off to the side and I'll let you in when I get there. If it's open, or if someone comes out and it opens, feel free to park by our van and get your gear ready to go!
